Is it just me, or has Tim Horton's forgotten how to make coffee? For the past few months I have become increasingly dissatisfied with Tim Horton's coffee. So much so, I avoid it now and look for a starbucks or second cup.
Maybe they're too busy making sandwiches, bagels, and pretty little strawberry tarts that coffee is no longer their cup of tea, so to speak.
If only Country Style could make a decent cup of coffee...

The only thing I like about Tim Horton's coffee is the price. I avoid it whenever possible.
I fresh grind Starbucks beans every day at home, and when I last tried a Tim's, it tasted terribly bland by comparison.
I think Tim's gets its large market share more so from its convenience, large restaurant area, and all the sugary treats than from the quality of its coffee.
Have you tried Tim's without the sugar? I think they sugar it down with that nasty refined stuff so just go au naturel.
Aha!! I too find that in the last 3 months Timmy's has begun to suckaroo!! My hours are ungodly so making it at home is normaly out of the question. My answer...and dont laugh...McDonalds! A large coffee with milk, a blueberry muffin and the Ottawa Sun...1.35$!
Yep...I'm lovin it. billg
I agree with McDonald's ... Surprisingly, a couple of years ago, they started serving great, full bodied, strong coffee.
Given a choice of where to grab a coffee - we choose McDonalds - and the lines are shorter too.
Of course, the closest of any "coffee place" is a 45 minute drive away, so I have one of those Cuisinart Grind and Brew and grind my coffee beans each morning.
Speaking of coffee.....it's ready!!
I've not been crazy about Tim's either lately, but can't stand Starbucks. I just find it far too strong, and the price is ridiculous. And what's with the stupid names for the cup sizes?
I'm probably just cheap, but I make a pot at home in the morning, and then drink the free coffee at the office during the day!
