Ladies and gentlemen of the tory blogosphere, today the nation will be allowed the singular privilege of hearing Iggy's "vision" for Canada. Frankly, after hearing Dryden's statement yesterday, I am wondering whether any of the candidates have anything of value to offer. What did Dryden say that wasn't just "the same old same old"? Are any of us sitting on the edge of their seats, shivering in anticipation to hear the words of the great patriot and Canadian icon Michael Ignatieff? I didn't think so.
I invite each of you to help the Liberals by visiting my other blog virtualmp.blogspot.com and adding your "vision" statement for the Liberals to ponder. Let them know that there are many of us who have no podium, but nonetheless care deeply about Canada's direction, have great ideas that need to be heard by all levels of government, and share a love of this country that has no conditions, no terms, and motivates us to day after day participate in the blogosphere.
Let them know that if their collective vision is nothing more than a grandiose restatement of the "same old same old" their words will be meaningless, and Canadians from sea to sea to sea deserve better. We demand better. Our future depends on it.
