Tim Hudak Announces New Chief of Staff and Principal Secretary

Word from Tim Hudak's office is that he has appointed a new Chief of Staff and a Principal Secretary. The story should appear in tomorrow's papers.

The position of Principal Secretary is not new, but the position had disappeared after the Mike Harris days. Apparently neither Ernie Eves nor John Tory had employed one during their respective tenures.

The new COS will be none other than Lynette Corbett and Principal Secretary will be Carrie Kormos.

Corbett is a veteran from the PMO and Kormos has been heavily involved provincially. If you're thinking the name 'Kormos' sounds familiar, you would be right. She is related to the very outspoken and relentless critic Peter Kormos.

I haven't had the privilege of meeting either, but Kormos was pointed out to me while visiting Hudak's campaign HQ during the race.
